Hi, well it was a long time coming.. but.. we have just installed the very final interactive displays at the Sunshine Coast TAFE Sustainability Discovery Centre.  The displays are a great interactive and unique experience for all visitors.  The whole team loved playing with them in the workshop as they were developed and we are sure that they will be a hit.

The stands are still being packed up and trucks loaded with gear.  The 2012 Gold Coast Motorcycle was a great success.  This year Focus Productions built the both the Yamaha and KTM exhibition stands.   Next stop, Phillip Island for Superbikes.

Hot off the press!  Focus Productions, in particular it’s founder Joel Nebauer has featured in the latest issue of BRW.  Check it out on the news stands, or contact us for a copy of the article.  Don’t worry if you can’t get through on our phone lines, the fans are ringing non-stop.

Well a new year, brings a new business who will be partnering with Focus Productions.  Upright Projects will be supplying exhibition rigging and lighting services to our exhibition clients, they will be based in Melbourne and we can’t wait to see some photos from the first show of the year (Australian Motorcycle Expo at the Gold Coast).

Last month we provided the stand for Yamaha Motor Australia at the 2011 Motorcycle Grand Prix at Phillip Island. This stand includes the 3×3 40″ 11mm bezel Samsung LCD Video Wall. Congratulations to Casey Stoner on his win!

We are very busy finalising the last few details in preparation for assembling the Yamaha Motor Australia stand at the Sydney Motorcycle Expo next week. We’ve even made a huge 2m stocking to be hung above the Christmas section of the stand. It’s currently hanging in our workshop and looks great! Photos will be up after the show.

We’ve just finished installing the first set of interactive displays for the Sunshine Coast TAFE Sustainability Discovery Centre. They have provided us with many challenges including creating a pump system to display the difference in water use for a normal shower head vs. a water saving head, and working out how to make an LCD spin safely around on a wall while displaying an interactive liquid hourglass. The first few displays have been delivered and look fantastic, with the second lot underway. Make sure you check them out if you’re in the area!

Focus Productions has just recently won the tender to fit out the Moreton Island Visitor Information Centre with new interpretive displays. We look forward to working closely with the client to ensure it not only looks great when its finished, but that it will last in the harsh island environment.

Challenges include ensuring the centre is energy efficient with the limited power that is available on site, and using materials that are corrosion resistant due to the high salt concentration in the air.
